ETZ HAIM
EUROPEAN RABBINICAL ACADEMY
עץ חיים בית המדרש לרבנים באירופה

It's time to apply!
Courses at Etz Haim officially commence in Tishri (late September), aligning with the beginning of the Jewish year. However, we understand that learning needs may arise at different times, so if a sufficient number of students are interested, we are open to launching an additional cohort, such as in the spring.
Admissions
At Etz Haim European Rabbinical Academy, we firmly believe that diversity is one of our greatest assets. We welcome students from a wide range of religious and personal backgrounds, creating a stimulating and inclusive environment where everyone can express and share their uniqueness. Our academy is a place where life experiences, cultural traditions, and spiritual perspectives intertwine, enriching the educational journey of each student.
We are convinced that this pluralistic approach not only enriches the school community but also fosters a more comprehensive and profound education. Students learn not only from faculty but also from each other, promoting an open and respectful dialogue that nurtures personal and spiritual growth.
Additionally, we take pride in offering a high-quality educational opportunity at significantly lower costs compared to other institutions. Our mission is to make rabbinical training available to anyone who wishes to deepen their knowledge and commitment within the Jewish community, while also equipping them to bring a vibrant, relevant, and inspiring teaching of Torah to the contemporary world, both Jewish and non Jewish.
Join us in our journey of learning and discovery, where every voice is heard, and every story is valued.

Entrance Requirements
To ensure that our students are thoroughly prepared for their journey at Etz Haim European Rabbinical Academy, we require a foundational knowledge in several key areas of Jewish life and tradition.
As part of our admissions process, all applicants will participate in an interview designed to assess their readiness for our curriculum. This conversation will not only evaluate their existing knowledge but will also help identify any additional areas of learning that may be beneficial as they prepare to join our Rabbinical School.
If necessary, we offer a Mechina, a preparatory course, for students who may have gaps in their knowledge.
We are committed to supporting each student’s educational journey, ensuring they have the necessary tools to succeed and thrive in their studies and future roles within the Jewish community.
